Available finishes for your printing.
Unlike most printing companies, at thecitypress we have a full finishing suite available so we are able to apply the following types of finishing to your printed material.
» Trimming: Any item that has an image or text printed close to the edge (such as a business card) requires a bleed zone to be established which requires trimming off after printing. Also we are able to cut your flyers and postcards into almost any shape.
» Collating: The individual pages, or in the case of brochures and menus the folded sections, are put into the correct order before binding to form the pad or book block.
» Binding: The collated block then enters the binder, where glue is applied to the prepared spine or edge to join the sheets together. By performing our own binding, we can offer carbonless forms bound on any edge.» Drilling: The multi-headed drill gives you the option of drilling 1, 2, 3 or 4 holes along the spine of a book or pad so that it can be inserted into a ring binder for presentation purposes.
